The Premiere of Ken Burns' new
documentary,
The National Parks:
America's Best Idea
When : Sunday Sept 27
Because of my work in the environmental field I was selected to host a party by the NPCA for my friends & family!
I was invited to host a party on Sept 27th to make people aware of the premiere of Ken Burns' new documentary, The National Parks: America's Best Idea. NPCA organized a week of parties to raise awareness of the national parks. "There goal is to inspire all Americans to dedicate themselves to protecting and preserving our national parks," quote by Tom Kiernan, NPCA President, "so that the parks can be enjoyed, explored, and cherished by our children, our grandchildren, and by all future generations."
My Party Kit includes:
- 12 packages of Kettle Brand Potato Chips ( All different flavors)
- 1 case of Dagoba Chocolates ( Organic Chocolates)
- 1 Nordic Ice Pack
- 25 window decals for NPCA
- 25 Free coupons for Kettle Brand Potatoe Chips for my guests
- 25 buttons for 2016 ( NPCA's Centennial Anniversary)
- Assorted Park Brochures

I will be posting highlights of my physical party with photos on the NPCA web site.
The first episode of the film will be shown on Sunday the 27th at 8 p.m.; in some areas, multiple showings will be offered that day. Check http://www.pbs.org/nationalparks/ for local listings.
This beautiful film tells the story of inspiring individuals from diverse backgrounds who dedicated themselves to creating and protecting the world's greatest National Park System. The National Parks Conservation Association is organizing parties to build awareness about the parks so my event is one of hundreds being planned around the country.
Busy Sunday?
A new episode will air each night that week. The conclusion is on Friday, October 2nd -- another great night for a party!
What The NPCA Does

Americans expect our national parks to have clean air and healthy wildlife, and that our nation's historical treasures will be well-cared for. But years of underfunding and external threats such as air pollution and climate change are taking their toll. National Parks Conservation Association is working on these key initiatives to restore America's national parks by the centennial anniversary of the National Park Service in 2016:
