What's the most you've ever paid for a pair of shoes?

I'm super cheap, the most I've ever paid for shoes were $60 and it was hard to part with that cash. Yeti bought a $90 pair once and I almost flipped out on him.

$500- $1,000 back in the day, now it is about $44.00- $250.

In my youth money was not worth pain in my feet my parents always had our shoes and clothes made some by hand I was familiar with quality. In the 1940s -1980s quality was expected and I have an extremely narrow foot thus my feet cost money.

The most I paid was $42.00 and I thought I was going to die over that - and that was with a coupon. I hate buying shoes!!

Can you say "Payless"? $30 tops.
If I pay $60 for a pair of shoes, they better come greet my feet every morning with a cup of coffee, otherwise my $7 house hoes will do.
This outta make YOU feel good though. You just met someone cheaper than you. (lol)
I could go bare feet if it wasn't for catching something that I don't want.

Just before I moved last year I paid $45 for a pair of sneakers. I was so mad about that. I was used to going to Payless and spending $30 for two pairs (BOGO).

Back in the fifties and sixties I spent $25 which in today's economy would equate to a hundred or more.

I'm not much into shoes but I remember going shoe shopping with my then girlfriend in San Antonio. I watched in stunned silence as she dropped $550 on a pair.

I'm a cheap-0 also but I did buy a pair of Faded Glory shoes back in the day they were 80 bucks man i loved those shoes and it was when i was a teenager way before I had my girls now I don't spend more than 20 bucks on shoes for myself the girls are a diff story tho lol

the most I spent on one pair is a little over a $100 on boots, timberlands.. now I buy cheap ones but good quality.. Kids sneakers run me over $100 a piece for good quality sneakers for my older boys.. Girls are easier to please

I guess the most i ever paid was $125 for a pair of black cowboy boots. I still have them. I kept passing the store on Broadway and looking at them and wanting them. My shopping strategy goes like this - if I see it and I don't buy it immediately, and I get home and I am still thinking about it alot, I go back and get it. If I don't buy it and I get home and I don't even think about it anymore, then it wasn't for me in the first place.

The most I've spent was about $150 or so. Usually I spend around $60 per pair. We buy my husband boots that cost over $100 about once a year.

$160 for a pair of chic black sandals with a low heel. They were health shoes I bought in Europe, but didn't look like a healthy shoe, I wore them for three years and got lots of compliments on them.

when I was young I could buy a pair for five bucks and wear them, these days I buy quality shoes, with good support, that still look good - average around 50 to 80 bucks.

My feet thank me for it:)

I'm a sucker for Kenneth Cole shoes.... the boys in the shoe dep't give me good deals on them.... that's one place I can haggle (they must work on commission!).
My latest pair was $224.00, but after haggling, I walked out with for $89.00.
I've haggled at Sears too.... in every dep't. It never hurts to try!
Those weren't my most expensive pair.... I can't remember for sure, but they were close to 200.00 in 1994. When in New York....
