Me and Andee ( My Sister ) Went to First Street Pet store in Huntington, WV to look for her a pet. They have all kinds of birds and fish and they have A Big Turtle that walks around the Store as the stores pet. It eats and drinks out of a big dog bowl and has free run of the store.

I touched it and It did not try to bite me. But Andee said no turtle.

Andee made a friend

With some kind big snake

She thinks the snake would make a good pet...
we will see?? What do you think?

I'm not into boa's, they get rather sickly. Or unlike the python, the Burmese the most common but as a first snake can not beat a ball python!!
My man dose not care for the snake for they are not something that is going to cuttle up to you. Or be happy to see you. They eat, poop (and it can be stinky!!) and breed if you want them too.
Are you prepared to feed a live critter to this snake?? Or are you willing to buy a dead critter to feed this snake?? Of course if you buy a dead critter for it, someone has to kill it! Then depending on the snakes personality the snake may not eat a dead critter....
Then is where buying chicken broth and such comes into it. As snakes grow they take more then mice to eat, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, bunnies, goats etc..
Is there a snake doctor around? Or anyone who knows how to doctor a sick snake around?? Check on this before any exotic pet is bought.
Is it legal in your area to have a exotic pet??
These red tails do not get real big, 12 feet or so, however do you have that kind of room for such a critter?? The electricity bill can be paid every month after you get the enclosure set up? The heat lamps etc. They do not live in the cold. They will get sick.
So some questions and homework need to be done before purchasing such a critter.
Happy Friday!
