Independents' Day is a rather new street fair style collaborative of creative folk who get together to show off their talents. Local bands played, the Ohio Roller Girls raced, locally made films are shown, and artists created, sold, and invited others to join in designing projects. One of the events, Chalk on the Walk, invited people to decorate the street with graphics.
There are 10 photos in total. Below is a special find.
Proof that Pirates are everywhere!
I invite you to view the other photos and check out the amazing talent and variety the artists and their friends brought to the street.

My daughter was down there yesterday to go to a "90's party". She came home today.
Actually, clay is my thing. I almost didn't recognize you. You're not a flower now.
I am always amazed that so many are willing to invest so much time into art that is so very temporary.
