Yes, me hearties, it's that time again; it's International Talk like a Pirate Day! In honor of the celebration, I'm posting a picture of me vessel, M'lady (the only boat in the marina with a black hull) and my nominee for official theme song for this momentous day.

Feel free to nominate your favorite pirate song for consideration. And for the scabberous dogs among ye, please keep it down with the posts about the Malaysian and African pirates. Yeah, we all know they're out there, but this is for FUN.

Enjoy the day and don't forget to Talk Like a Pirate (freak out your kids and frighten your boss)!

I know a lady who calls herself "Megapirate" on a different site. She and some friends take credit for getting Pirate Day recognized by Congress. Some short time before June, she completed her Chem, and in June she started the first of 30 radiation sessions. She hasn't updated since then, but she hasn't had a smoke in 313 days.

If any of you know her, tell her 'Hawk says, "Avast!"

Just got back from the Pirates party here in Atlanta. Love the post keep watching in a week or so I will post the pictures of one well of a party. I had to leave early because of the hitting the high seas tomorrow for a week.

Oh, it's a "recognized" official type day! LOL. No, I don't play adventure quest, but I live in a community that has three families that are descended from actual pirates (and I suspect one of them is still maintaining the family biz).
