After reading The Forgotten King by R.L. Edinger, I wanted more and ordered another of his books. I was very pleased when Journey Into the Knight arrived. I could not wait to begin another journey with Andrew Knight, the Private Investigator.
What I found as I delved into the book was more than one journey. I was catapulted into several mysteries, one after another. As soon as one was solved, we were on our way to another. Some I could figure out, others I had to wait for Andrew to find the answers.
With each case solved, I was finally able to put the book down. Moving from short story to short story was a great way to experience the “life” of Andrew. You are drawn into his world and see people, places, and things through his eyes. He has a way with making it easier to understand the when, where, why, and how of each scene.
If you have not had the opportunity to read this book, I encourage you to do so. It is a good book and with the format (short stories) it will be a good one for you take with you to read while waiting for appointments, between chores, while the children nap, etc. Also, if you haven’t checked out the review of The Forgotten King, journey on over. It is another great read.
