I just signed up for both this week, but am not having much luck navigating them. I'm too busy trying to keep up with Gather anyway, and I may sign off Facebook and Twitter. I don't think you can beat Gather for finding nice people with interesting ideas.

I have a Facebook account, to keep in touch with friends. I post links to some of my stuff from Gather, but don't get much response there. The average Facebook attention span is pretty short, and Twitter even less. I think I opened a Twitter account, but haven't used it. I don't really 'get' Twitter.
