mary allin travers, member of the folk group peter, paul and mary,
died yesterday at the age of 72 from complications related to
chemotherapy treatments. she was diagnosed with leukemia in
2005. the group was responsible for such hits as "if i had a
hammer", "where have all the flowers gone?", "puff the magic
dragon", "blowin' in the wind" and "leaving on a jet plane".

so I guess I'm old too. LOL
I saw PP&M several times in concert between 1965 and 1969. They always put on a great show.
I loved Mary's sweet, passionate singing.
