learning about myself

I prefer working to not working - it's more energizing.

I prefer walking to a destination to walking "for exercise".  And since I am usually carrying a heavy satchel... wouldn't that count as more exercise since I am carrying "weight"?

As much as I swear I love to be alone, I need more people around me.

As much as I am a clutterer and a hoarder, clear space makes me relax inside - there's a visceral reaction - and it's GOOD.

As much as I swear I am a cooperative person, I have a wide competitive streak.

As sure as I am about my abilities, I need others' approval and appreciation.

As much as I love animals, I am looking forward to the time when I am pet free.

I find I've been living my life gather points as often as I can - from websites, shops, credit cards, etc.

Leslie you said it well. I do feel the same at times. I like being alone but rather have another human being around. I am a loner but enjoy crowded places. I do my best reading in a noisy crowded place.

Well written Leslie. It is good that WE all take time to be HONEST with ourselves from time to time. Just so that we do not lose "touch" with who we are.
