Another health care plan unvailed

On HLN, they been talking about a new plan by 6 senators, 3 dems and 3 rep. The plan doesn't have a public option but mandates that all americans have to be insured. They said that they were working on keeping the ins. companies honest.

Tell me, how does forcing people who can't afford ins in the first place to have it going to make ins companies honest. They must be licking their chops.

How is forcing us to have ins we can't afford going to make health care batter? People who have ins. already are amoung those who are getting poor health care when their ins either drops them for getting sick or refuses to treat them.

PS, at least one of the senators who helped draft this is still refusing to approve it.

No matter how you look at it if you lost your job , health insurance and your home screw you...!No one cares... The whole thing is making me sick...

I think we have to give them the time and chance to improve our health care system. I can see why he wants everyone to be insured. I can see what he wants to do BUT it seems too many people are opposed. Did so many folks oppose it when Bill Clinton began this whole mess? No. Not as much. Hmmm...I wonder why? No one accused him of being a socialist or a communist, no one said he was a liar, he wants to do the best he can for us. Let's give him a chance. I see a lot of senators and reps that are opposing this but it isn't even fully written out yet. All the ideas are not in place. How can we make decisions based on that?

This is not Obama's plan. Its suppose to be a bi-partisan plan bye 6 senators. At least one of those 6 senators won't even back her own plan. Forcing people to have ins isn't imporving care.

I have a friend who lives in a state where they are mandated to carry health ins, if you don't have proof of that ins, they withhold your tax refund. They don't supply an alternative for those who can't afford ins, they make them choose between paying for food or having the ine. Since they have to have the ins, they are hurting paying other bills.

That is not how it works in Massachusetts, alternatives are provided and it is income based.

At this point in all of the mess in DC I believe that Congress are entering a competition for attention v product. Their childishness is showing while nothing REAL is getting done.
