I know I haven't been around much, and I hope to change that soon. I have been incredibly busy the last several months though.
First off today Charles is 6months old. Having an infant and a 3 yr old keeps be very busy during the week. Then on the weekends we have been busy vending BBQ. My husband has been smoking meat for years as a hobby, and with the help of my stepfather, they turned it into a small business. Sooo several weekends this summer we have been gone out vending at small fairs and such around the area.
We have done 2 competitions and have 3 trophies from them! A second for brisket, a 3rd for ribs, and a 1st for a mystery meat (wasn't told ahead what it would be and were given it that morning of the competition.. It was plain pork brats, and they were goooood when the guys were done with them!!!)

A couple of times I have taken some of my crafts and actually sold several of my hairbows a few weekends ago. So I have been busy making more, because in NOV my mother signed us up to do a craft fair, so I need to get a lot done between now and then.
I have been working on a couple of new sewing projects. Just this weekend I sewed a little pouch for my sister to keep in her purse, since she got a new one with no pockets.

and I made a patchwork skirt for Maddie about a week ago too!
these pics aren't great, but we were out at the park, and she wouldn't stay still...

Earlier in the summer I made a few pillows, and tried my hand at some Capri Sun purses since we drink so many of those things:

the purses are sort of a pita because they don't hold still like regular fabric does for you in the machine...
I also have made a few new bows, but don't have pics of them yet.
Here are a couple of newer pics of the kids though:

So my gather friends, I hope you forgive me for being gone so much from here. I hope I can make it up to you all soon.

The kids are so cute Amanda, and I cannot believe that Charles is already six months.
Glad to see you drop in for a visit. Maddie is as cute a ever and Charles is adorable and has grown so much! It sounds like you are doing well!
