"The time for games has passed."
Barack Obama
“It’s time for us to talk about health care and not Mr. Wilson.”
Nancy Pelosi
"Health care is an extremely complex and important problem that won’t go away until Congress sits down and solves it. So you can see why lawmakers would rather flap their gums over Joe Wilson. It is so much easier to debate a resolution condemning his rudeness than it is to agree on a bill that provides health care to all Americans without increasing the deficit"
Roger Simon
"what I heard was an unspoken word in the air: You lie, boy." ... "Wilson’s shocking disrespect for the office of the president ... convinced me: Some people just can’t believe a black man is president and will never accept it." (emphasis mine)
Maureen Dowd

I wrote him yesterday and said I didn't want a plan without a public option.
I also said I didn't know if he was going to be a Republican or Democrat
for health care reform.
But that is was important.
If he votes Republican.
I will not only vote for one of the lesser party candidates, I will go campaign for one.
But, good for you for putting it to him.
What he needs is a real democrat to run against him in the primary.
I don't know if it is still true, but it was necessary in 2005, to pay to read Dowd.
Wilson's statement had NOTHING to do with racism.
Guy lives inside a big box, which has the name RACE CARD printed on it.
have you little boy ? So when you get brave enough to come out of that big box labeled "RACE CARD", and begin to actually have something to say, maybe there's a chance, that perhaps, there could be a possibilty, that somebody just might even listen to you. Bwa ha ha ha ha.
