Are You Getting Ready For Halloween?

I've always loved halloween, but we don't decorate for it. Kids never come by our house for candy either. Its sad, its like my favorite holiday is dying.

i love halloween myself, and the kids have costumes, but i have not done much more then that

When the kids were at home we decorated like crazy but now, not so much.

Ahh oh yeah. Helping my friend get her haunted attraction done (got pics up)...got most of my costume done, getting hubby's going.
I do a big blow out the whole month....and have four costume parties to go to..so with the new costume, have my fav. stand bys....but the last party is the prize costume party. (I won five yrs in a row...so I really go way out...pics of that up also from last yr.)

I've been going through some things that a friend of mine gave me after they lost their house...
I love to decorate and we get a good share of trick or treaters here....
but they must get scared before I give 'em my treats...heeheehee......

We are starting to get stuff together =). I tried Kenzie's halloween costume on her last night. Its not going to fit come Halloween. Sooo we went to the Halloween store last night, and they were closed. So tonight we are gonna go and get her a costume =)

I put up the outdoor stuff this past weekend, but most of the indoor stuff will wait a bit. We need to do some major cleaning, and some of it will wait till right at Halloween, because of the cats. We're going to have a big Halloween party for the kids & their friends.

For costumes, the kids have until October 1st to decide on something, so that I have time to pull it together before Halloween. Raegan's wearing what she wore last year, but adding vampire teeth, and we'll do her makeup different this year (she was a gothic doll last year- she had a corset, fishnet tights on her arms under a t-shirt, a black skirt with grommets in it, and black jeans & boots).

I have my costume & hubbys, but in light of doing a children's party, we're changing our costumes. We were going as a Catholic Priest, and a Catholic School Girl (the costume wasn't bad, just a regular plaid skirt and shirt, but I think the overall idea is probably not as kid friendly).

This morning, Gilly asked Nick what he was going to be, and he said "Oh, I was hoping I could tick off God right before Christmas". ;)

I love handing out candy and seeing all of the cute madeup kid's. =) We had quite afew last year, so I hope we do again this year.

I keep some Halloween decorations up and around the house all year long. I've dug out some more and decorated the yard. I'm not done with inside the house yet.
