I don't have optic nerve damage nor have I lost any vision as of this point. That is the best news. I had my surgery on my left eye and I will know in 2 weeks if it worked on the pressure. Then I will have the right eye done on October 12th.
I see that some of you have gotten Lasik eye surgery mixed up with what I had done. This surgery was not to correct my vision. I will still need my glasses.
What I had was SLT Selective laser trabeculoplasty therapy laser. It is used to make more channels in your eyes so that the pressure could be released and help prevent glaucoma. They originally thought that I might have had some periphal vision loss, but the visual field test said that I didn't which was great news.
So thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I will know on September 30th if the surgery was a success and the pressure was lowered.

That's quite a relief Carol. I hope the remainder of your treatment(s) go just as well. ÂÂ
