Kate Gosselin on THE VIEW / Taylor Swift on Tue

Today for the start of the new season The View Kate Gosselin was a guest host.

Did anybody watch it? I just had to because I've missed a lot of her interview and wanted to see how she would be with Joy and Whoopi.....at on point Joy did ask CAN the family back out of filming, there was a pause and Kate said no and gave her "I'm doing it for my kids"

Do you think thats true....or is all about the money?-- and I know the $ goes for the kids in most but you cannot say that Jon and Kate haven't used it for them selves too.

On Tus Taylor Swift will be on do you think she will address the KW at the VMA's or just sing?

Oh I think the kids benefit from it. They are too much in the spotlight for the kids not to receive the better portion.

Missed The View...I can never hear one over the other when I watch that show.

I watched her on the view and it was nice (after the first 10 minutes) to see her talking about something other than Jon or her kids. She almost seemed normal.

It costs a lot of money to have that ugly haircut, and all of her expensive clothes and her high heels. I barely ever see the kids anymore. Thats the reason why I watched it. Now that there is trouble with Kate & Jon its all about them.

I think the kids get stuff, but what they needed was for their family to work. I think the parents were and are still being too self focused. They need to quit the show and take care of their kids. However, now that they have a huge home and expensive habits, I don't think will happen. Gotta keep up with the new haircuts, clothes, etc.

I've watched both days ....I think Kate was OK--I'm a bit over the whole issue myself , but it was nice to see in in another light.
I thought Taylor handled herself very well.

Sorry...I was away from my comp most of the day yesterday and just let this into the group.

Anyways...I missed the full interview, but I got to see a little clip. I thought Kate's new hairdo looked great! She was beautiful on the show and I'm glad she finally ditched the backward mullet.

I'm sure New York has laws in place to protect the entertainment earnings of the children. They'll probably be set for college no matter what happens.
I've never watched their show, but did the father work? I've gotten the impression this was their only income.

at the start of the show both Jon and Kate had other jobs-Jon was an IT tech and Kate was a nurse.........I know the kids are set ( side note they are in Penn not NY =D )but It just seems at the time of all this family drama it was time to stop the show.----Now Jon wants to but I think ita good thing done for the wrong reason---no matter how much he wants to spin it he was mad they we're going to do the show with out him on as much!!!
