The Mob That Marched On Washington

 Communist! Socialist! Muslim! Liar! We want our country back! So shouted the mob as it marched on Washington. Signs depicting President Obama as Hitler to an evil Joker, dotted the mostly white mob. Angry and hate filled rhetoric attacking anyone and everyone who does not see the world with a narrow view or through the eyes of intolerance filled the air, even as the pundits from the propaganda and media machine of the new GOP fueled and stirred up the fires. They reminded me of the extremists that led a revolution in Iran.

 We want our country back! We want our country back! They shouted in response to their fear of losing their grip and clutches on the power that they have so gleefully welded for so long. They know that their days are numbered so they have no choice but to now openly court the extremists and intolerant that have hidden among the folds of the Red, White and Blue they so love to club everyone with. They even brought their offspring who obediently parroted from their book of indoctrination, half truth and lies. The Republican Guard flexed its muscles and in a show of force and intimidation, it marched a small number of its foot soldiers down the streets of Washington.

  Yes we want our country back! For too long Washington has been more about what can I do for my buddies in Halliburton, for too long Washington has been more about building bridges to nowhere and less about equality and tolerance. Yes we want our country back and no mob marching down Washington will stop this new era and age, where any child can grow up to be President.
