Did you watch the season finale of True Blood tonight? Wow!
Have we seen the last of Maryanne and her evil ways? What's happened to Bill? Will Sam find what he is looking for? It sucks that these questions will not be answered until July of 2010!
I can't wait until the return and it does seem too long of a wait. I loved the clue that was given about a vampire should never try Sookie's blood, did you catch that? I am wondering if it is the end of Bill since he was strangled with the silver chain and I wonder who did it, maybe Sam. I thought first it was that other vampire who is also in love with Sookie but the silver chain would kill him also. I think it's the end of Maryanne though, but you can never tell. Maybe I'll read the books between now and the return of the show.
Yeah, I caught that about Sookie's blood. Unless the writers go away from the book on this I know why this is an issue since I read the books.
Eric could still be behind Bill's "disappearance", he told the Queen that he would take care of Bill. Maybe that includes a forced separation from Sookie giving Eric time to put the moves on her? Ya never know with this show, lol!
yeah I thought it was Eric also taking care of Bill but whoever was behind Bill had silver and if it were Eric it would have affected him somehow right ? can't wait until the new season starts
Eric would have hired someone do to if for him. I don't think he would want Bill to know that he is the one behind the abduction. With this show who knows what will happen.
I haven't watched the last few episodes since our free HBO ended. I hope the Maryanne storyline ends. I think it's too strange for me. More vampires please :)
I know I was sooo mad that the show ended the way it did !!! I do wonder who was that behind Bill and just what happened to him I can't wait for July !!!
My husband is addicted to True Blood. I have never seen it. What I am going to do is watch the whole season on demand via Verizon Fios before the next season. That way, Ed and I will be able to share next season together.
I haven't seen the second season as I do not have HBO. I don't mind reading spoilers for this season, but the way I saw the first season was to rent it through Netflix.
I was reading on ew.com about a plot point in the books that Alan Ball might use for the actual series. I hope he doesn't use it. I've never read the books, but I'd prefer they go their own way, like they have with so much of the series anyway.
I hope to God that Maryanne is dead...I think we'll see no more of her. As for who kidnapped Bill....it couldn't have been Eric, but of course Eric could have hired someone. And what about the Queen vampire? I think she's going to play a big part in the next season. She seems kind of...insane. LOL!
I've read the 9 books, and watched two full seasons of the show. I also keep up with the proposed Alan Ball plotlines and story arcs for season three. I have a very strong feeling that he is going to dramatically alter the path the books take with this next season.
I'll keep watching it, but my preference is the books, as they are far more exciting and compelling of a story.
Where have you found the plotlines and story arcs for season three?? I'd love to read these.
I love the books and the show. Since Alan Ball is going to keep Bill as a major player in Sookies life he has to change the story to do this. I will say that I'm happy to see Eric getting a bigger part each season. At least the show is kept interesting for those of us that have read the books.
