Fall Foliage Forest Colors

I thought I would share some of my favorite Fall Foliage Pictures from the years past.

Fall Foliage is by far my favorite subject and time of the year for nature photography.

I guess if it were fall all the time it would not be as special but since it really only lasts a few weeks it is a very special time for those who loves the autumn colors of nature.

This is one of my favorites. It is actually a reflection of the fall trees. I had to wait a while for the wind to be calm, but it was worth it.Upsidedown Trees Lake Sky Reflection


This is kind of different. Macro Fall Foliage. It is amazing the fall foliage scenery that you can find in the smallest areas.Ferns And Moss Forest

This is another of my favorites taken just last season near cheat mountain West Virginia. The mountainside is just bursting with fall color.Autumn Colors Mountains

This is probably my favorite Fall Foliage Picture as I love the reflecting water and the vibrant colored trees.Fall Wine Cellar Lake Trees

Last but not least is my most recent capture of the Old Fashioned West Virginia Grist Mill in West Virginia. I waited for the lighting to be just right before taking this at sunset. You know that Amber Autumn glow that only comes in the fall? That is how the lighting truly was, this is not done with a filter.

By the way all of our pictures are free to use. I just recently was blessed with a new Canon 5D Mark II and I will be posting pictures from those this coming season. They are up to 25 MP, so I hope you enjoy them.

Those are fantastic images. Someday I hope to own a digital body for my Canon system. I have a nice set of lenses but still use film.

These have to be the most beautiful Fall photos I've ever seen and I have taken hundreds in the Pocono Mountain area. I have never seen such beautiful reds. The reflection photo is gorgeous.

You have beautiful fall photos. I can't wait for the leaves to start changing around here so I can get out and photograph. Heading up into the mountains this weekend, hopefully to spot a few of the leaves starting to turn.
