A Writing to "YOU"

This started off as a writing that I wrote to myself;
for myself;
about my "self";
all by myself.
I wrote this writing to appease "me"
to release "me"
on a page
yet to be
filled
with words that I could
call my own
KNOWING that whatever I write
needs noone's approval
no backing
no accolades
and no standing ovations
These words are silently written
yet speaking LOUDLY
as if by MEGAPHONE
because I get REAL LOUD
sometimes
When I'm grooming "me"
and renewing "me"
and at times even pruning "me"
with the help of scissors
from on HIGH
Because it gets like that sometimes
in moments
of solitude
or rectitude
or untamed
A T T I T U D E
It's a matter of a~d~j~u~s~t~m~e~n~t
you SEE
from "me" to "self"
expecting no one else
to notice
or even care
because it matters not
if they do
It's all about the "me"
excluding "you"
the OUTSIDER
who can only see in
but can't get in
unless I open the door
and right now, the door is closed
because I'm busy
BUSY . . .
being about this business of "me" . . .
embracing "me"
and loving "me"
all by myself
and for myself
because the "self" factor
balances out
when written
when expressed
when cherished
by way of
W ~ O ~ R ~ D ~ S
to your "self"
for your "self"
about your "self"
all by your "self"
Can you feel me?
If so,
then you KNOW
this is . . .
HOW WE WRITE.

YES ~ yes ~ people say I'm AGGRESSIVE ~ L O L ~ and FORCEFUL at times...(particularly with words). [It's the Legal background in me I suppose -- ]. But I also know that it is my nature to cut to the quick. I have to work on seasoning it you see ~ {smiles}...
You know how SWEET I am ~ ahahah!
You're right Linda ~ It is a UNIVERSAL POSITION for ALL. Everyone has to center themselves at some point -- ready or not. It may sound a bit selfish upon first hearing, but if it isn't done, WE ALL KNOW the results of a messed up, burned out, worn out "self"...
And, WE just can't have that now can WE?
HUGS ~
Your Friend,
Rene
smell of memories
Spirit is the catalyst for sparks of INSPIRATION...for soul enlightenment...for unwrapping the "gifts".
For propelling the pen of the Poet ~ etc....
Thank you for commenting!
checkmark on the "smell of memories".
HUGS to you my friend,
Rene
Thanks for stopping by to read this.
I just came back from reading one of your EXTRAORDINARY WORKS ~ "WONDERINGS: For The Love Of Beauty". "YOU" AMAZE "me".
BIG HUGS!
You know you'll be SEEing a lot more of "me" over at your place! ~ L O L.
THANK YOU very MUCH for your kind words, and for taking the time to read by works. SEE YOU SOON!
Had those myself. It's later I recognise the passion of that moment, but then, in reading it with a calm heart, it seems different, then seems to be a time of learning, learning some more about the 'self,' a time for reflecting how I could manage the situation better, should I get into a similar frame of mind. Writing is good for me, essential.
Have you read Julia Cameron's THE RIGHT TO WRITE; excellent reading!
Peace.
Moments of PASSION can ignite a LIFETIME of PASSION. It is the Passion Principle (when followed) that leads to the path of DIVINE LIVING.
The "calm heart" that you speak of makes room for audible INSTRUCTION to be received. And, when received with "gladness", the RESULTS are MIRACULOUS!
Learning with Purpose. I like what you've relayed.
WRITING ~ oh writing ~ where would WE be without the pen or our keyboards? It is the ART of BALMING the SOUL for our life missions that include "touching" the lives of others with our words. And when we die ~ what we share lives on....
so YES! ~ I AGREE with you that WRITING is GOOD for us ALL, and EXTREMELY ESSENTIAL.
Julia Cameron is one of my favorite Authors. She is also a great TEACHER in the area of the ARTS. I have not yet read "The Right to Write", but if Julia wrote it, I'll read it! ahahah! "Walking in the World" is a GOOD READ too Jerome. But my all time FAVORITE of Julia's is "The Complete Artist's Way" ~ OH how I LOVE that BOOK!
Thank you for taking the time to give me a READ and a SHOUT OUT!
Your Friend,
Rene
This is written about you, but you were kind enough to include us, to let us see this part of you that's so very important for all of us to do. Yes, to evolve at all, in writing or in life, we must do this.
(OK, now put those scissors down, geez!)
Marilyn
Truly, I often write from a "thought"...and sometimes from a "collective thought"...and at other times, from a single word. I write down what I am receiving most of the time. I don't intentional write, I write when inspired. I write when the message just won't leave me alone until I write it completely out. I awake from sleep with complete writings, and am unable to go back to sleep unless I get up and write. The same holds true for the songs I receive. The whole song will keep playing and playing until I have captured every word, and every note on paper or tape recording.
Someone once told me that some people are actually "RADIO RECEPTORS" ~ I know that is TRUE, but what I am speaking of is different, because the songs have never been written before. So I'd have to say I'm a Radio Receptor of a very different kind ~ and yet so are we all...
Snip . . . snip . . . Marilyn, you know how I LOVE Snippets! ahahahh! And the Scissors from on HIGH, well now, . . . I have no control over that ~ l o l.
HUGS ~
Rene
Reflection allows us a moment to assess any errors or mistakes that we feel we may have made along the way, and to LEARN from them.
Thanks for taking the time to read this writing, and for leaving your wise thoughts.
HUGS ~
Rene
Thank you for the 10 ~ smiles.
