Another day to send special thanks and prayers..

to our soldiers and their families for keeping this country safe. Thank you to all the firemen, police, civilians, doctors and nurses and anyone else that helped on that horrific day. Thank you to all the men and woman that have fought for their country in the past present, and future. And thank you to their families for all the worry and heartbreak that they have endured.

This is a day to reflect back and remember that without these men and women that give of themselves each and every day, we would be in a state of 9-11 more often than not.

Please take time out of your day to say a special prayer or just a thought for the lives lost that day and also that God keeps these men and women and the citizens of all countries safe from terrorists.

Very beautifully written, Carol! Thanks so much! It doesn't seem possible that eight years have flown by since that treacherous day. Different places throughout our city are having special remembrances, and I've seen many flags at half staff this morning!
