My First Born Was Born on 9/11/62

I cannot allow the actions of terrorists to dampen the joy I feel on this day for my son William S. Carroll. I can set aside a time some where in today to connect with and respect those who have lost loved ones on 9/11/2001 yet, my son and every person who shares this date as a birthday deserves their time.

I do not share much about my personal life here yet, I have so much to celebrate as the mother of a great son who has a son and wife and has made something good of his life.

My word for today is "Celebrate"

"Celebrate" the living and set aside a time to remember others!

the Original 9-11 was the day that Egypt and Israel signed a peace treaty. Peace is what we should celebrate.

Johnice, my father died 8 hours after my daughter was born. That did put it on the next day, but it is the same thing. I feel a sadness at the loss of my father, because he was always good to me, but that does not change the love and joy I feel and celebrate on the day my daughter was born. I learned that lesson in 1987, and I think it applies as you said. Hugs and Blessings, and congratulations on the birthday of your son! I hope he had a wonderful day with his family!
