Leaving gather

The best part is I found a killer deal at a resort at Sanibel Island - so I plan on watching the sun rise over the bay from my very own balcony. 

Ever since I read in the paper that they completed restorations on the winter estates of Edison and Ford in Fort Myers, I've been dying to go.

Of course the big draw for me is the gardens on the Edison Estate which comprise several acres. But I enjoy looking at classic cars too and I'm looking forward to seeing all the inventions by Edison.

Gotta go - haven't even packed yet, we're leaving in a couple of hours:) Wish us luck with the weather - I'd love to take a walk on the beach.

I'll try to look in over the weekend, but we have other weekend plans as well, so I will probably not be around much until Tuesday.
