As some people know, my gal and I are currently staying in Kentucky.
Some of the most significant changes we've been enjoying and adjusting to are: cleaner air, less light pollution, the sounds of crickets and peepers at night and the views of squirrels and birds during the day. The nearest town is twelve miles away; and they do not have a strip mall.
Last night one of our neighbors visitors had their car alarm set off by a squirrel. It was the first time we'd heard that noise in over four weeks. We used to hear that noise four times a week.
We LOVE the Country.
Here are a few pics from our stay. I wish I could share more.

I lived in Cave City, and Bowling Green, KY for years...love the country!
Little bitty twon about 6 miles away, and another little town 18 miles away in the opposite direction.
Congratulations!
I have relatives who live about 80 miles southeast of there.

Thanks for posting to my group, Anythingwriting
With our computer time so restricted I cannot respond to everyone individually.
It's nice to see that so many people have Kentucky connections and memories of their own. Wow! Thanks for sharing those.
Peace To All
