Politicians will do anything to manipulate the public for political ends!
As the British Telegraph writes, twenty short people were ordered to stand behind the French president, Nicolas Sarkozy, to make him look taller during a speech.
The aides of the president "made sure none were more than his own height of 5ft 5ins."
According to the Telegraph, Sarkozy "looked far more statuesque than usual as he posed in front of the group."
In June, Sarkozy had to use a footstool to look taller when delivering a speech alongside Gordon Brown and Barack Obama in Normandy (click here for the photo)
