breaking my mind...

yep, more signs. My favorite has always been the tshirt that said when in doubt-read the directions with a bible on it...LOL

Now that song is going to be stuck in my head. I am supposed to be writing a paper on exegesis and hermeneutics....ACK!

I was pondering that song the other day, where the singer starts out, disturbed a company doesn't wish to employ long haired freaky people. If the company's primary customers were older, conservative people (the song comes out of the late 60's), I could understand, now anyway, screening like that.

The song sends the message that it's more important to express yourself outside the mainstream than it is to have empathy and understanding for the feelings of others.

The drawback of living in a society is a society by definition has other people in it.

Tesla did a great job in remaking this song.
I saw a sign that said, "ATM inside." on a Church in town. At first, I thought, "You've gotta be kidding me. That's so sad."
On the other side of the billboard had what ATM stood for: Atonement, and two other things. (I can't remember this morning.)
Then, I thought, "Brilliant!"
