That is the lesson wingnuts who don't want the president speaking to children are teaching to their kids.
Let's cut to the chase. The birther theory, the outrageous death panels, and the indoctrination claims are all about race. How much more evidence do we need? I for one, never claimed any of this stuff, on their own to be about race. As a collection, it's pretty damn obvious unless you are one of those doing this nasty stuff.
Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of people who don't care about the president's race and disagree with him. They disagreed with other democrat elected officials at all levels on policy. Those folks don't talk about birth certificates and an 18-minute speech as indoctrination.
I am talking about the crazies who advance birth certificate theories, death panels and indoctrination accusation. They are not crazies actually. They are bigots. They know that nobody will take them seriously if they even give a hint of a race charge. So they mask their bigotry with issues that challenge the president's legitimacy. He is not born here. Therefore he is not a legit president. He may have won but we don't have to listen to him. Everyone knew they were around. When Justice Roberts fumbled the oath a tiny bit, he had to do it all over again the next day before someone goes to court and challenges that Obama was never sworn it and demands annulation of all executive orders or bills signed, say 3 years into his presidency.
These bigots are teaching their kids that they don't have to follow the orders of a minority boss. This is their way to put Obama in his place.
They are doing all this and the GOP leaders are cheering them on. They took guns to his town halls, and the opposition seems to like it.
These idiots, however loud are a tiny minority. We know 52% voted for him. Of those who did not, the majority are good folks. The tiny fringe is loud, and certainly dangerous. Let's hope they don't convert more people. Let's pray for the father of two young little girls safety.
I am concerned. This is no small thing. And it's been getting worse.

Did not vote for Obama and most likely will not vote for him in 2012, unless he does some pretty remarkable things like a 5% unemployment rate. We can argue about having Tort reform in the health bill, we can argue about allowing people to buy health care across state lines, both things I think will do more than simply having the government compete with private insurers. We can have such debate but we cannot engage in accusing the president of wanting to kill seniors. It's outrageous, it's dumb, it's not good for the office to accuse them of killing people.
Indoctrination? Are you kidding me? That means changing all school materials and you would need at least the entire 12 years to get it going. Our founding fathers give the President 8 years, not enough time to brainwash anyone k1-12.
We all need to cool it and work. I am concerned for America. This is indeed dangerous.
However the founding fathers did not put an 8 year limit on the president. It was legislated by the GOP because FDR was so popular they could not win an election. We would be making real gains if we could put the same term limits on congress and end their cronyism with big business.
You may disagree on policy, but you choose not to demonize the President.
2nd: lets get to the nuts and bolts of this: Is it wrong for the president to speak to kids? NO. Of course not. Is it misinterpreted by the general public because Obama's team (once again) screwed the pooch on the planning and spin coverage? Yes of course.
He blew it...again. the first thing that comes to mind is "why is he doing this now when the whole world is going to crap?" I think he might have picked a better time.
Holding the proclaimed "indoctrination" speech from the public before the event was STUPID. People are not trusting him as far as they can throw him at this point mainly due to the blunders of him and his team regarding the public and staying on message.
Notice he is all over the board? Trying to please everyone here and abroad?
Im not saying Bush was a great president...but you have to give him credit for standing up for what he believed in and sticking by it. That took guts. I applaud him for that. Obama might learn more from him as he learned about so many other things that Bush did. After the election, Obama realized there wasnt a choice on so many things he slammed Bush for...and did exactly as Bush did.

And you are right, Obama is just another JR.

Alan, Afro Americans are 13%. Yes. Then add other location categories and the number increases quite a bit. Obama is not included in the 13% btw.

GO TO CENSUS OFFICIAL TALLY, and I providing you the link here: Table DP-1 on page one (for your info, the cover page is not numbered). Whites comprise 75% of the population (yes that include white latinos). That leaves 25% of black including black latinos. Your 37% cannot be made up anywhere.
This has nothing to do with the topic. Just seeking correctness. When you repeat some stuff you heard on talk radio, do yourself a favor and check it out, maybe after three times of paroding it.
White — A person having origins in any of the original peoples of Europe, the Middle East, or North Africa. It includes people who indicate their race as “White” or report entries such as Irish, German, Italian, Lebanese, Near Easterner, Arab, or Polish.

You say 75% of America is white.
Under that definition, I am sure you are right but that doesnt make it true.
The basis for the determination of race is not specific in the least.

Children , dont listen to their parents half of the time.. So, what is your point...?
You missed the whole article. Not surprising. You don't know the point. Quite frankly, you are an idiot.
Just think of the tax savings with smaller classes and less morons in training.
