In an interview with World Net Daily on August 15, Michele Bachmann, Republican member of House of Representatives from Minnesota, was asked whether she would ever run for US president.
"If I felt that's what the Lord was calling me to do, I would do it," she answered.
"When I have sensed that the Lord is calling me to do something, I've said yes to it. But I will not seek a higher office if God is not calling me to do it. That's really my standard," Bachmann added.
Recently, she said that the Democrats don't want her out of office because she's crazy, but because she may soon become the first woman president of the US.
"They want to make sure no women, no woman becomes president before a Democrat woman, and so they're doing everything they can to, I think, sabotage women like Sarah Palin, perhaps women like myself, to make sure that we don't have a prominent national voice."
Perhaps God did ask her to run for president after all.
For all those who have a problem with me calling Michele Bachmann crazy, consider these remarks made by Bachmann:
- Asking conservatives to slit their wrists and become blood brothers against Obama.
- Telling constituents they need to be "armed and dangerous" against Obama's energy plan and adding that having a revolution every now and then is a good thing.
I lived in Minnesota. I know many great and normal people there. I simply cannot believe that this crazy idiot is representing the people of Minnesota at the US House of Representatives.

That's damn scary.
Strong conservatism, yes! Educate smart women conservative, there are plenty around. College dropouts, whackos, can't do nothing but rile up an angry mob, NO!!
Oh... my... goodness... Didn't we just have a President who claimed to hear the voice of God? And how'd THAT work out for us?
