We had the best time....

My daughter and I are headed back from the Endless Mountains of PA today to our home in Daytona Beach, FL.  We have had an awesome awesome visit and the added bonus was the weather was picture perfect.. Blue blue skys and warm temps..

I couldn't have asked for a nicer time.. Thursday night I spent catching up with high school chums.. many of which I hadn't seen since we graduated in 1976.. Friday I spent the day with my daughter getting her pampered for her bridal shower.. She had her hair highlighted/low lighted, a mani and pedi and then Friday night we had an amazing dinner with friends.  Saturday I spent visiting with family and friends who came in special for the shower, including one very special friend Danielle (danipa) who drove all the way from Pittsburgh to share this special day with her (by the way if you are not a friend of her here on Gather I would highly suggest you connect with her..She is one awesome friend and is wordly beyond her years...

The shower.. what can I say.. was beautiful.. my daughter was showered with love and gifts and I think she was overwhelmed by everyone's generosity.  I have tons of pictures to load and share but will do that once I get back to work on Tuesday.

So today we head back.. I'm looking forward to seeing my husband again.. Tomorrow is an unlabor day for me.. I plan on kicking back and RELAXING..

Thanks for everyones loyalty and support throughout this entire shower ordeal.. offering suggestions on gifts (and by the way the memory book was a huge hit and if you care to see a few pictures there is a post), reviewing the poem I wrote for her shower (another post) and always giving me words  of encouragement, friendship and praise.. I can quite honestly say I've never met (or unmet?) a nicer group of people than the people who are my friends on Gather..
