Coal-E-Us for Curt L and John Beck

One  of the first things I noticed upon arriving at my son and daughter-in-laws was a huge planter full of gorgeous coleus. I had to smile remembering the word puzzle Curt L had just days before. The one I didn't get that John did. My guess was we-o-coal.

The color of these plants is just outstanding.

Tiffany let them bloom so they made a real dramatic display.

The smaller coleus was pretty .

Prettiest of all was my grand daughter seen here with a bag  of leaves pinched from both plants. She got them for grandma,  me.

So I can have a couple of these pretty  plants  to sent out next year. Or maybe I'll just grow them indoors.

They are so easy to grow! If a piece breaks off, just put in water or dirt & it should start growing.

Beautiful photos! Your grand daughter is a cutie.

I don't usually have luck with coleus, but I bought some plants this spring at Kmart ($2 for 6 pack). They turned out very lovely this year!

Those are pretty, Vivian. I remember growing them in high school Biology and watering them with water and food coolring.
