Tropical and exotic hibiscus varieties bloom year round and it is so easy to fall in love with all of them. I have a couple beauties in my garden and while their exotic beauty only lasts one day, they are spectacular, each bloom completely unique.
This week my hibiscus flowers looked particularly pretty and strange - as you will see.
I've been taking flower photos all week - because drum roll - the temperatures in Florida have finally dropped enough for me to take up my morning walks in the garden again.
Here is the first of three flower photo posts.
ENJOY!

My neighbor and I were just talking about our hibiscus bushes the other day. It seems that they are the only ones not blooming at the moment around here.
Hibiscus need a resting period - I noted mine bloom more profusely at certain times of the year and they enjoy the rainy season. The end of January is when the bloom the most.
This will be FEATURED this WEEKEND in Artistic Minds®.

Thank you for posting to Pretty Pictures.
Thanks so much for sharing with my group.
I agree with Sue... there's something about white flowers that are just so appealing... your photo of your Jasmine tree flowers is special, the blossoms look so waxy and ethereal.
