As many of you know my daughter and I flew from FL to upstate NY on Thursday and today is her shower. Poor kid is just miserably sick with allergies.. the pollen is ridiculous and add to that cat/dog dander everywhere.. she's not doing very well.
My son and his girlfriend are supposed to come up from the city for the shower and I got a text last night from my son that his girlfriend is really sick.. so i doubt they will make it either..
But me.. i'm having a great time! Thursday night I met with high school chums.. some i hadn't seen in over 30 years! I have pictures to share once i get back to FL..
Yesterday was a day of shopping and eating with more friends and it was very nice.
Today my gather friend Danielle who drove all the way from Pittsburgh (6 plus hours) to attend the shower is gonna find her way down to where I grew up before the shower and I'm gonna give her the old town tour.. Should be fun.
And the weather has been delightful!
