Yeah. Obama will recruit kids from a single speech. After that, they will all go get their orders and become the SS of the United States. First, they will turn in their parents to the administration. Can't allow that to happen. Let's not let them hear this.

I have an idea. Keep your kids home, that way, everyone will know whose mama or daddy is a birther, whack a doodle, wingnut.

Where were these people after 9/11. The biggest terror attacl on our country and the president was fine continuing to talk to school children. What was he telling them? Oh that's just a silly question. Everyone knows Bush cannot convince anyone. Children would laugh at him were he try to recruit them for a nutella sandwich Oreo cookie chocolate milk snack.

Anyways, to all the outraged, keep your kids home. The sure way to ensure the teacher will hate him. They are all liberals, remember? LOL.

The fact that betrays your perspective are the changes that the White house made to the post-speech "lesson plan" from Obama-centric discussion questions "how can I help the President?" fluff to student oriented questions. Besides that , why waste a perfectly good hour of education time to instead show the kids the latest Obama info-mercial?

It's true Alan. Reagan addressed schoolchildren; so did G. H. W. Bush, and his was a little political rah-rah speech. The reason Dubya couldn't address schoolchildren is his goober speaking-style and Know-nothing attitude toward education made him a terrible role model.

Don't give me your formulaic little dittohead u-2 crap. What you amateur spin doctors are terrified of is a black President appearing in front of American children to inspire true pride in their country and a sense of hope in what they can achieve by making investing their effort in a public education.

You can't stand the thought that you might lose control of the concept of true "patriotism" which you've usurped as slur and a scare tactic against those who disagree with you.
