The government of Canada will challenge the ruling by the Canadian immigration board panel that granted refugee status to a white man from South Africa who claimed persecution from black South Africans.
Brandon Huntley argued that his life in South Africa was in danger because "whites are targeted by black criminals while the government does nothing to protect them. He claimed he was attacked seven times during attempted robberies and muggings."
William Davis, the chair of the immigration board, ruled that "Huntley would stand out like a 'sore thumb' due to his color in any part of South Africa."
"I find that the claimant was a victim because of his race (white South African) rather than a victim of criminality," said Davis.
After the case was made public, London Times interviewed a number of "white South Africans, some claiming to know Huntley, who said he was a fraudster and conman who wanted to stay in Canada after his temporary visa expired and cleverly played to popular prejudices about crime in South Africa."

I repeat: I cannot see any issue here and certainly no reason to raise an eyebrow.
