First there was failed Vice Presidential Candidate, too hot for me, so I will run out of the kitchen, Sarah Palin and now there is, Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele fueling and propagating the erroneous and ludicrous idea of so-called death panels or death camps that would be created if any sort of government Health Care Reform would come to pass. In the latest effort by the GOP to stir up a frenzy among the intolerant and intelligence deprived individuals that make up the core of their members the Republican Party is making the claim that a pamphlet designed and aimed at helping Veterans to plan for health care in their later years is something akin to a death book which is solely an attempt at encouraging U.S. Veterans not to seek medical help, all in an effort to safe the Government money. So once again the GOP muddy the waters with misinformation and false claims, which in the long run do seem to work, at least with the gun totting, camouflage wearing , Swastika painting intolerant majority that make up the core of the Republican Party.

Not to mention of thousands of unborn children who will die from lack of access to proper prenatal care... They are scaring people with lies in or to visit actual horrors upon others.
A living breathing idea that was once the body politic. All this in the right-wing a vain effort to regain their lost seat of power. With our freedom now almost destroy by irrational fears socialism, and take over by President Obama, we are like an autum leaves waiting the for the harsh winter of the fascist conservative march across the land as they claim that they are the true America, that they once knew. Sounds confusing, yes thjey are.
Except Faux.
So the Republican Voter Base requires only about ten words to get them foaming at the mouth.
Liberal
Acorn
Socialism
Abortion
Prayer
Terrorist
Control. . . .
Government
They don't even recognize how they are being manipulated. They won't even look at a verifiable fact that disagrees with what they are programmed to believe.
Ah! but, their numbers are declining, their own children abandon their ideology.
If you want to "convert" or persuade those who are currently Republicans of the error of their ways, insults are not likely to help.
And its shameful. Perhaps your parents should be speaking against some of these disgusting republicans who have spent the bulk of their time lately misleading those who would listen to them. Even though it has been pointed out constantly there is no bill in process which is promoting death camps republican leaders continue scaring the pants off people who are vulnerable enough to believe what they are saying.
Elected officials who would stoop that low should be charged with treason or something else as serious. To knowingly lie about an issue which is in writing is nothing short of moral bankruptcy.
Some of these comments are as outrageious as the common"taters" themselves.
Personally I don't see any difference between the Reps/Dems or libs/conservatives or the left/right or the up/down...
They all vote the same when it come to important issues. Not sure why Obamacare fiasco has not pasted (but happy it hasn't); there has been plenty of vote trading and intimidation. The opposition may be just to great for enough vote trading make a difference. Many are worried about their jobs, as they should be. There will be another intimidation/informational speech by Obama in front of both houses.
Obama thinks he got his groove back.
I'd say that the truth these days is pretty hard to come by and is generally somewhere in the middle of ALL that is being said.
I'm kind of thinking something else has been and is going on.
I think the Libertarians are a much more extreme Party than I had thought.
I think a lot of Libertarians have been registering as Republicans, and have been taking over the party for some time, now. Like Ron Paul. He runs on a Republican ticket, but he is no Republican.
Now, the Republicans having lost so much power they seem to be utilizing that base to maybe harness that energy to regain power. The Republicans would just like to regain their standing, but these nutcases are revealing themselves for what they really are. Dangerous wack jobs.
For the first time in my life, I actually see the Libertarians as the dangerous wackos.
I now have come to appreciate the original Republican Party, and the Democratic Party.
Turns out, these have been a great buffer between us, the American common person and the wacko extremists. The only death camps are the ones in the Libertarians minds. It is THEIR plan. These death camp rumors, have gone on for more than 30 years, and each time, whomever was President was accused of building them.
The One World Order is what the Libertarians/extremists have in mind should they gain control.
Full of horror stories that they pass on from one generation after another.
These are NOT Republicans. I used to think that the Libertarians had the right idea, and I thought the Republicans were trying to hijack the Libertarian mantra, but just a few days ago, the light bulb finally flashed in my brain as to what has happened.
Seeing all the roudiness at the town hall meetings, and then seeing them come out packing weapons at them, I had to mull over what was going on.
It's the Libertarians. In past times, most of the time Republicans and Democrats could haggle things out, just like the founding fathers did a long time ago. The Constitution was not all easily agreed upon, and everything hunky-dory.
They had a lot of debate and compromise. Manythings were decided upon, as a start, not a finish. It was known that adjustments would be made. That's why ammendments were made a part of the Constituion. They knew changes would be needed, and made a way to accomplish that change.
Please consider the influence of money in the matter. You may find that what you fear is being caused by what people are doing for money.
We want national parks
Clean rivers & lakes
Clean air
Good jobs with safe working conditions, vacation, health care.
All that socialist stuff.
We are not being dupped into voting against our own self interest.
I know Republicans, exactly like your parents.
I disagree with them, but they are not always racist, anti environment, anti worker safety, all that.
They are not the majority in, nor do they represent the controlling ideal of today's Republican Party.
For Republican who are owned, lock stock and barrel by corperate interests in America, their bottom line is greed and the accumulation of wealth. A power control by the few. Where the vast working population are consider secondary to the concern of turn a quick buck! Furthermore, where the workers of America and their health, or the enviroment is use to make money to feed their need for the accumulation of wealth and greed is a good thing. Don't want their votes, just stay in the minority when comes to votes in congress, as hey wrap themselves in the flag and paid private business tax payers dollars to commit torture, do unarthorize wire tapping in the sake of so-called security.
Rather than come to the table to comprimise they the Republicans are willing to plunge the nation into believe or not, armed camps.
I am not kidding, did you hear about this. Are your kids going to school Tuesday? Do so at your own risks.
Obama is really really scary. He said boo to me the other day, I almost crapped my pants. He is dark, tall, and the people around him had guns. I was horrified.
