In the news.  Just heard of a man arrested for child abuse.  He was in a Walmart and he told a woman with a crying child to either shut up the child or he would and then he hit the child several times.  My God, what was he thinking?  I had been the child's mother, I would have ended up in jail my self, because I would have found the largest item nearby and smacked him over the head.

That's absolutely awful! Good grief, if he couldn't stand the crying, he could have just walked away to another part of the store........that was totally uncalled for, and he had no business touching that child.

How awful. He could have walked away. I think he is off balance.

If it were my kid I would have tackled him to the floor and pinned him until the police arrived. I may be in a scooter, but no one, no one touches my kids.

he is being held on no bond. He had to be either drunk or on drugs, or just plain unstable.

Crazy. No matter how much crying children irritate me (and they can if it goes on forever and I'm locked in a store with them) I would NEVER consider hitting anyones child!

What a horrible incident this is. Maybe this guy was under so much stress he just snapped on the child. That poor kid.

If it was my son, I would've given him what-for. Where are these people coming from? I probably would've gone ballistic!
