A Blatant Suck-Up To My Publisher!

In a move to achieve those ever important suck-up points with my publisher, I now offer the following two blatantly capitalist, profit-motivated, and brownie point cultivating missives…..

1. My soon-to-be released book, ChristmaSin’: A Juliette Christmas Epistle, is now in the “Coming Soon” section of the Champagne Books website, www.champagnebooks.com. Please go check it out, my Publisher-In-Chief, Ellen Smith, loves lots of website hits!

2. In an even more blatant grab for suck-up holiness, I’d like to say that she’s selling any ebooks she has available for 50% off through September 4th.

I know this is crass, commercialistic, and profit motivated. I also realize that I’m self-promoting my own book and my publisher’s catalogue all at the same time. But, look at it from my point of view - if my book sells a lot, then Ellen might sign me to do another one, thus assuring the continuance of my book writing career. It also means getting to continue working with the PR guru for Champagne Books, Tami Winbush, a very talented and pretty lady. So, if I sell lots of books, I get to write more books and continue working with both Ellen and Tami. With that all being said, let me sum it up for y’all both professionally and in a low-keyed way…..

PLEASE BUY SOME DAMN EBOOKS NOW, AND FOR GOD’S SAKE BUY CHRISTMASIN’ WHEN IT COMES OUT!

Ha, I guess I will check it but I'm another person that likes real books. Though I may one day soon break and buy one of those nifty portable ebooks! Seen those? Now there is a way to take the affordability of ebooks on the go! But, the initial investment will be a bit much...
