Frustrating day

Oh well, we all have days like those right? Well my computer crashed and I lost all of my data, genealogy and comment as you please wise I had on here, though my genealogy is salvagable as I have the information I have gathered elsewhere.

Then my job tells us that us temps are rock stars (whatever that's supposed to mean), but that the next phase of the job wasn't ready yet so were going to be let go for at least a day. At least me and another girl who I became good friends with the past couple of weeks, got to stay a little longer in the day to finish preparing some information for the project that is important. I am doing some temp work for a union, so cleaning up the membership info is very important, as an important vote apparently is coming up in november. It is interesting to see how the union works though, and everyone is really nice there, even when we have differences of opinions on how to handle a project. (That happened earlier today, which I was outvoted, but ultimately was right on how to deal with it, as I suspected the info was a little too nit picky and wound up being pushed aside temporarily, which is what I thought we should do in the first place.)

But at least the database manager said we would all be asked back, as they went through many temps before finding ones that could learn quickly and could also produce a lot of work as well.

Anyway, hope everyone is having a great night, as I still remain hopeful that they can get it together quickly enough for me to go back into work ASAP.
