New Nationwide Study Confirms Homeschool...

As a homeschool mom, a lot of people tell me

" Is your daughter socialized, what about tests, does

she have to take a test, do u give her the test, etc ,etc."

YES YES YES!!!!!

She is socialized! We are around other people every day.

We are part of a local HS group, we go on trips.

So for the Tests, She has to take a yearly test and according to

NC HS laws, I can give her the test and then we sent the

tests to a Test Co for Machine scored resutls.

I am not surprised. I used to be a monitor for our home school group for the California Achievement Tests. (Ours were sent off to Harvard to grade.) Sometimes, the public schools sent kids to our testing sessions - either because they missed their own or because they didn't like the results. It was usually easy to recognize the public school kids. They were the ones who fidgeted, who interrupted instructions to ask too many questions, and who didn't finish the tests.

The facts of the matter are that properly homeschooled kids FAR exceed in ALL areas than public school taught children! And if folks would like to verify that, they can look it up for themselves.......

People just don't realize all that homeschooling accomplishes. In the past decades, there has been SO much progress in developing organizations that plan and iniate activies between kids that are all home schooled. There is even a summer camp solely for kids who have been homeschooled.
