Here is a list from my most recent CVS shopping trip. I will include the items I bought, the price paid and the coupons that I used, along with my total cost.
I got up bright and early yesterday morning to be sure that I got the best deals. Our CVS store tends to run out of the sale items very quickly. From experience, the best sales tend to be gone by late Sunday afternoon. I made sure I was there by 8:30 am. Before going in I did a bit of a rehearsal, looking through my coupons and making sure I had a game plan! Will, in the end my extra planning really paid off. This week was my best week so far. I’ve only been doing this about a month. I’m getting better each time though.

I let the cashier ring up all of my purchases, then I handed her my $5 of $25 coupon. Then I turned in all of my coupons and my ECB of $10.58. After all was said and done I paid a total of $2.38 out of pocket and earned $8.99 in ECB for next time!! At the bottom of my receipt it says that I saved $34.97!! I was so excited at the great deals that I received.
I would like to thank everyone who has posted their CVS experiences here on Gather. It is that very reason that I was inspired to try this out for myself. So thanks for all of the knowledge and inspiration and Keep up the Good work!!!

Thanks for posting. It's pretty neat to see the savings and see how it's done.
