If this was a repression of free speech then the officer was out of line. As far as the cop goes anyone has the right to resist a unlawful arrest. If you notice the cop made a lot of threats but did not make any move to back them up and finally went out of the picture.

I've never said the afore metioned statement. I haven't really taken the time to study the case that close. I do however remember Obama saying he did not know all the facts of the case but said of the police that cooler heads should have prevailed. I'd say Obama made a judgement admittingly without all the facts.

I would go along with this Rude except for the fact that school property is not government property. Schools belong to the community of every state and does not come under federal property.
