There are so many punctuation marks for just about everything, well, i think there needs to be one for sarcasm. a sarcastrophy. Man, I'd use the hell out of a sarcastrophy.

What other expressions do you feel deserve an actually punctuation mark?

I use the tilde (~) liberally as my sarcastrophe.

{^;^} = sarcastrophe (lips puckered nose twitched eyebrows raised.)

{~x~} = completely dismissed (Eyes closed tight X means NO! =absolutely not! or IDGAF!)

I'd love that! We used to have another punctuation mark in English, called the interrobang. It combined the question mark and the exclamation point. Why it's disappeared, I can't imagine. We also need more words sometimes. For example, why is you both singular and plural?

Au-u-u-ugh! I'm having a hard enough time with existing punctuation! Between my editor and manuscript reviewer I'm ready to throw it all out and go with Cormac McCarthy (The Road). Bet there was plenty of {O,O} from HIS editor!
