And the Bard said to the Lady
“I have gifts for you.
I give you the sun at it rising to glow in your heart
I give you the moon at its fullest to fill your life with magic
I give you the poetry of the babbling brook
Flowing through meadows of wild flowers
I give you the perfume of roses and honeysuckle
As the sun kisses them in summer
I give you palette of Autumn
With its every changing colors
I give you winter with its crystalline beauty
And the wonders of spring
I give you the gift of fertility so that everything you touch
Grows for the good of all.
I give you the power and the immortality
Of my unconditional love never to leave you.
But there is something I cannot give you
Even one such as I with power at his disposal
I can never give you disappointment.

Thank you John
That's quite an ending, John. I like the cadence, the natural beauty as your poem flows down the page.
And, indeed, lovely to read on this evening.
