This is the last of my older patterns I will be making free, at least for a while. I do intend to make new patterns available for free every now and then, so for those who are interested you can keep a watch for them by joining my patterns group.
Meezer Ami
Materials:

Worsted weight yarn - small amounts MC, lesser amount of CC
US crochet hook size F/5
12 mm safety cat eyes
2 pipe cleaners
Polyfill
Yarn needle
Finished Size: About 12 1/2" tall, not including ears.
Notes: Gauge is not important for this project. Do not join rnds unless otherwise noted. Mark the beginning of each rnd with a scrap of yarn or stitch marker.
Weave in loose ends as work progresses.
Body
Rnd 1: With Mc yarn and starting at bottom of body, ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. (6 sc)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12 sc)
Rnd 3: (Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat around. (18 sc)
Rnd 4: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 5: (2 sc in each next 3 sc, sc in next 6 sc) repeat around. (24 sc)
Rnds 6 - 11: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 12: *(Decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc) 3 times, sc in next 6 sc, repeat from * once more. (18 sc)
Rnd 13: Sc in each sc around.
***Stuff body at this point and continue to stuff as work progresses. ***
Rnd 14: (Sc in next sc, decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc) repeat around. (12 sc)
Rnd 15: (Sc in next 2 sc, decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc) repeat around. (9 sc)
Rnds 16 - 18: Sc in each sc around. At the end of rnd 18, join with a sl st in next sc, fasten off.
Head
Rnd 1: With Mc yarn and starting at top of head, ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. (6 sc)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12 sc)
Rnd 3: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 4: (Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat around. (18 sc)
Rnd 5: (Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat around. (24 sc)
Rnds 6 - 11: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 12: (Sc in next 2 sc, decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc) repeat around. (18 sc)
***Flatten head into shape (the increases of rnd 5 will make the sides of head).
Attach eyes over center of rnds 7 - 8 with about 2 sc between. ***
***Stuff head at this point and continue to stuff as work progresses. ***
Rnd 13: (Sc in next sc, decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc) repeat around. (12 sc)
Rnd 14: (Sc in next 2 sc, decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc) repeat around. (9 sc)
Rnd 15: Sc in each sc around. Join with a sl st in next sc, leaving a length of yarn for sewing, fasten off.
Sew head and body sections together, matching the joining of last rnds. Add more stuffing at neck if necessary before closing.
Legs (Make 2)
Rnd 1: With CC yarn and starting at foot, ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. (6 sc)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12 sc)
Rnd 3: (Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat around. (18 sc)
Rnds 4 - 6: Sc in each sc around.
Rnds 7 - 8: (Sc in next sc, decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc) repeat around. (12, 8 sc)
Rnd 9: Sc in each sc around, changing to MC yarn in last step of last sc, break off CC yarn.
***Stuff leg at this point and continue to stuff as work progresses. ***
Rnds 10 - 24: Sc in each sc around. At the end of rnd 24, join with a sl st in next sc, leaving a length of yarn for sewing, fasten off.
Add more stuffing if necessary to leg, with the remaining length of yarn sew opening closed. Sew legs to rnd 3 of bottom of body.
Arms (Make 2)
Rnd 1: With CC yarn and starting at paw, ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. (6 sc)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12 sc)
Rnds 3 - 5: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 6: (Sc in next 2 sc, decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc) repeat around. (9 sc)
Rnd 7: (Sc in next sc, decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc) repeat around. (6 sc)
Rnd 8: Sc in each sc around, changing to MC yarn in last step of last sc, break off CC yarn.
***Stuff arm at this point and continue to stuff as work progresses. ***
Rnds 9 - 21: Sc in each sc around. At the end of rnd 21, join with a sl st in next sc, leaving a length of yarn for sewing, fasten off.
Add more stuffing if necessary to arm, with the remaining length of yarn sew opening closed. Sew arms to rnd 14 at sides of body.
Ears (Make 2)
Rnd 1: With CC yarn and starting at top of ear, ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. (6 sc)
Rnd 2: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 3: (Sc in next 2 sc, 3 sc in next sc) repeat around. (10 sc)
Rnd 3: (Sc in next 4 sc, 3 sc in next sc) repeat around. (14 sc)
Rnds 5 - 6: Sc in each sc around. At the end of rnd 6, join with a sl st in next sc, leaving a length of yarn for sewing, fasten off.
Flatten ear into shape (the increases of rnds 3 - 4 making sides of ear). With the
remaining length of yarn, sew opening closed and sew ears to top of head.
Muzzle
Rnd 1: With CC yarn, ch 4, 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, 3 sc in last ch. Working around into opposite side of starting ch work sc in next 2 chs. (8 sc)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each next 2 sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in each next 3 sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in last sc. (14 sc)
Rnd 3: Sc in each sc around. Join with a sl st in next sc, leaving a length of yarn for sewing, fasten off.
Sew muzzle over rnds 9 - 12 of center of face, stuff muzzle before closing.
Tail
Rnd 1: With CC yarn, ch 2, 4 sc in 2nd ch from hook. (4 sc)
Rnd 2: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 3: (Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat around. (6 sc)
Rnds 4 - 5: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 6: (Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat around. (8 sc)
Rnds 7 - 11: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 12: (Sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat around. (10 sc)
Rnds 13 - 26: Sc in each sc around. At the end of rnd 26, join with a sl st in next sc, leaving a length of yarn for sewing, fasten off.
Do not stuff tail.
Twist the 2 pipe cleaners together and fold about an inch at the end down and gently twist to the longer part making a looped end (so that it resembles a bubble wand). Insert into tail, looped end first. Clip the remaining end to about 1/2 in length is sticking out of the opening of tail.
Insert the exposed pipe cleaner into back of body where tail is desired and sew tail into place.
Finishing: With desired color, embroider nose onto top of muzzle. Embroider
mouth under nose. Weave in any remaining loose ends.
