I am smitten! I watch the water for whole days at a time during the summer, either from land or from the boat, in all kinds of weather and light. I hear the water sing and watch it dance, and this photo captures all of that magic.
So wonderful, mother natures ballerinas, tiny light dancers on a perfect stage. I would love to have a wall covered in this next to a fireplace with the worlds most comfortable couch and an antique floor lamp with table for mind tripping through The Lord Of The Rings.
Deb and I went wandering last Sunday - it's hard to say exactly where it is - a creek that is located a few miles down a road that led out of a little town called Chester. I have lots more photos from the day so will be posting more here and there.
Now, how'd you do that? What a great lighting effect. Very nice photo, one you could look at for a very long time and see something different in it each time you return.
As with most photos it was the luck of being in exactly the right spot at the right angle at the right time. And maybe just a little to do with having learned to capitalize on those moments :)

This one is a stunner! I haven't seen water that clear and pure looking since I first visited the high Sierras sometime in the late 1950s and it was high up in the mountains.
