My input. A pro of social networking is that you get to meet a lot of interesting people, making new friends and finding old friends and family. A con is if we spend too much time online, and not enough time where it really matters, one-on-one with family & friends.

Writers don't earn a living from what they do for the most part. So an E-Writer's Group should be an option for--
A. Writers to exchange industry information, and for
B. Writers to tip one another as to how best use one's writing to earn
"meanwhile" income.
