Now it sounds like you're saying that you're better than others. That is not very Christian of you. I teach my children that all people are equal not matter what they look like, what relgion they believe in, or if they are disabled in any way. I may not go to church, but I do believe in god and I do believe that all people are equal. I am not better than anyone else and just because you're going on a cruise doesn't make you any better than anyone else.

I think sometimes you have to consider the source and not give certain people or what they say power, but if you feel strongly about it then ...I try to question my motive for speaking out. Am I bringing glory to God by speaking out? If we have accepted Christ as our savior, then for us to speak a certain way is to take the Lord's name in vain or blaspheme. This person is probably looking for attention or a "fight" If someone is my friend that is not a believer and spoke negatively about Christ, I would say, I would appreciate it if you didn't speak about my Lord that way in front of me and if they didn't respect you or your beliefs the way they wish to be treated, then I would remove myself from the situation.

It's basically a silly post, prompted, I assume, by an abhorrence to rape, which is not a silly position. If you worship a god who you think would be offended by this, I think your god should be more insulted by your picture of him than by that post.

This is what makes life on this beautiful planet exciting, that we are given the choice to live our lives, each in their own neck of the woods, the way we deem appropriate. We are given the freedom of choice to say and do what we view as right, and others have the freedom to pick at what you say or do, as to what they seem right. But, who is right and who is wrong? If you're adamant that what you believe is right, by whose standards are you right? If you think it's wrong, by whose standards is it wrong? I believe in what the Bible says, regardless of what anyone says, I don't throw rocks at anyone and their beliefs and what they practise, because I'll probably get rocks thrown at me. I may not believe or agree with someones belief, but oh well!! We cannot all agree on something as deeply rooted as religion, it goes back in history that no one is supposed to agree on that matter.Each and every person will worship or not, the way they want and that's their business.

There's a saying..." I'd much rather live my life believing there IS a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life believing there is NO God and die to find out that, indeed, there IS.
