If you're looking for an alternative to AARP - and many people are since they're so liberal, and since they lie to their members, there is an alternative - AMAC. AARP said they had not backed any proposed health care bills, but they lied. (And here we all thought it was the President lying. Nope, not this time.)
AMAC stands for The Association of Mature American Citizens.
On their web site, it says:
The Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC) is a conservative, nonpartisan organization looking out for the interests of Americans 50 years of age and older. We believe in the traditional values of Faith – Family – Freedom that have made the United States of America the greatest of nations. We believe that life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are not empty words, but the fulfillment of the American dream.
AMAC will endeavor to be your advocate to promote commonsense government and to let you keep your hard-earned money in your pocket – not the government’s.
Check it out: The Association of Mature American Citizens
I have never thought that AARP was the group for me, although I have been a member because I wanted some of the benefits. But I let my membership lapse when I realized how far to the left AARP leaned. Their membership has been leaving over this last bit of lying they did. Hopefully those former AARP members will find there way to AMAC.

I won't be dropping the insurance until we do actually have replacements, but in the meantime..........time will tell, I guess.
That's one rule in our house........insurance is absolutely required! Life, homeowners, and vehicle!
I don't see where they have anything that I need.
