Alright, so this is where we stand. We did our whole bartering thing today and we settled on 73k which includes the pool table, window treatments, all the appliances, and the push mower. :)
Now the only trouble we have is with getting the loan. It's tough getting a loan nowadays for a mobile home or modular and the loan we thought we had might not be a go, so that could be a problem. We'll find out more tomorrow and I'll keep ya'll informed. We're really hoping it goes through, but I guess if it's meant to be then it'll happen and if it's not then we'll be fine too. ^_^
Anyway, like I promised I have PICTURES!
This is the house from the front and the front yard.

This is the shed that's just to the left of the house in the front.

This is the yard on the right side of the house were the septic tank and leech field are.

And a part of the back yard right behind it.

And when you walk in the front door you enter into the living room/sitting room. Right in front of you is the dinning room/kitchen table/whatever you want to call it.

And if you turn to the left there's the rest of the sitting area.

And through the door there is the master bedroom. It's ENORMOUS!

Through those double doors there is the little nursery off the master bedroom.

Here's a closer look of it. It's so stinking cute!

Then there's the bathroom directly off the master bedroom. It's got a bath AND a shower. :) So Jake and I don't have to play nice and share.

At the very end of the bathroom and to the left there's the walk-in closet. I've never seen a closet this big! It's the size of a small room and could easily be turned into a room if we so chose.

Then back on the other side of the house (to the right of the front entrance) there's the family room, complete with a pool table (which we do get to keep). It's a really good size room, too!

And then these are the two smaller bedrooms. Between them is another bathroom, but I didn't get a picture of that.

Walk back out to the left and go straight and you're in the kitchen! All the appliances come with the house, so that would be absolutely lovely.

Here's the laundry room. Washer/dryer stay and so does the deep freezer over in the left hand corner, which means that we've got plenty of storage room for food if we wanted to buy a pig next year from the Mennonites and have it butchered for us (which we were thinking about doing).

Then this is the back yard. We went and looked up the slope from underneath and it's not as much of a drop-off as the realtor made it sound. It's a slope, really, and a kind of steep one, but nothing that would really kill you. Might get hurt, but there's enough trees where probably wouldn't break bones, just bruise, and you wouldn't get to the bottom. And it's not too steep to walk up. I've walked up steeper and the current owner of the house has walked up and down it before without too much trouble at all, so we're not too concerned about that and won't even put up a fence or anything.

This is the crawl space under the house. James got all dirty and muddy inspecting underneat it for us in a nice white shirt, so we really appreciated that. xD

Then to the right of the house (looking from the back, left from the front, right in front of the shed) is the kid's swing set. I assume they'd be taking that with them, which is fine. Might make a nice garden spot for now.

Then the inside of the shed.

And the rest of the front yard looking at it from the back. I want to put a bench in that little circle of trees with a little fountain for reading and writing. Would be a nice, peaceful place and not much traffic here, either.

And then this gives you an idea of how wide the yard is. The point where I'm standing to take the picture is one boundary line and then the yard ends way over just past that mail box at the telephone pole. :) It's a pretty good sized yard.

So that's the grand tour. We're hoping to get the situation with the loan handled because we'd rather not have to go through the trouble of finding someone else to get the loan from and everything when it was basically a go already. But, like I've said, if it's meant to be then it'll find a way. It's in a higher up's hands right now and we've done all we can do here!

It looks like there is a bit of property there which is good, but I hate to say it, a push mower, is going to take alot of work! Especially from what I can see of the grounds there. You may be wise to invest in a riding mower.
And we do hope to live there for either the remainder of our lives or for the majority of them, but who knows what will happen?
Odd that they have carpet in the bathroom though - that would have to go for me!
Here's hoping you are posting that you'll be offline due to a move soon. (hugs)
I hope it happens for you guys...........
