I decided today that I'd better FINALLY download the photos I had accumulated in my Polaroid digital camera. And since the counter read "00," it was a perfect time to do that, as I couldn't take any more anyway! I'm still not sure if the date stamps are reading right, so bear with me on that.
I also received word that my friend Patricia Jordan just put her new book, 'Mark of the Beast: Hidden In Plain Sight' on Amazon (she also has a lower-priced e-book of that volume). I was lucky enough to contribute a poem or two to this eye-opening expose' on vaccinations.
Now on with the images! First we have a few glimpses of our quite-bashful and elusive Orangina cat. (These must be from last winter as there's snow on the ground).
The next "event" is a strangely-grimacing Matt's oatmeal raisin cookie, with some blueberries under it to make it look like it has a beard. (Maybe it's Bad Santa?).
Next we have spring bursting forth with a multitude of yellow, orange and red blooms. The first yellow bush is a clove or Crandall currant. Then we have tulips, daffodils, bleeding hearts, and some strange flame-like red flowers. I think these are some kind of miniature tulips.
The next small set of images is of a cardinal who found a nice sunny / sunning spot on the outside of our den window. It looks like it is taking a cat nap -- and thankfully without the cat!
Next it's some surprisingly-sharp images of an elusive catbird, from the back yard. This bird just loved to hang out in the butterfly garden patch, and only emerged occasionally to poach some crumbs from our feeding area. I believe this is the same bird I pursued (with camera) so that he actually hopped into "Elke-traz" -- our old dog fence area. That's also where we keep the main bird feeder, so I guess he was headed there!
Finally it's Dr. Jordan's book, closing the page on our little album and hopefully warding those bad beasts away. Hope you enjoyed this excursion and critter food donations are always appreciated!!
