Nalita has been on Gather for a very long time. Each person who is her friend. She takes time to show them love and she listens to the. She helps people with their problems and she is like a sister to me.
I dont think Nalita realizes how much she does for other people and how much she helps their lives. I think she even helped Obama's life. Before her on Gather, no one was really talking about Obama much.
When you go back on her profile. You can see all the groups he started. All her interviews. All of the ways she goes on to her friends articles and comments. Oh and don't let any body mess with you on here. She will be right there for you all the way.
Most people can call her a treasure. A friend you only can find once in this life. You see God broke the mold when he made her.
I know she has been sick, but she is strong and I believe she will win her fight with cancer.
She hasn't written much on here lately, but when she did. it was to help a friend.
For all of you that know her.Can you take a minute to show her some love? Make your comment so she can see how you feel for her.
She had a birthday that passed, but she needs to know how much we love her and miss her on gather.
Come on people make some noise!

I remember when we first connected on Gather. Back then you had a head shot of yourself, and whenever I saw you, I would think:
"What a handsome man! I would love to tell him so, but I wouldn't want him to get the wrong impression -- like that of my coming on to him."
I finally got up the nerve to send you a connection request, and you were very uncharacteristically silent. As a matter of fact, it took a little time before we REALLY got it rolling. Now? Now our friendship is a solid as a rock. That's what so bizarre about the many connections I have made here. ; there isn't really supposed to be true connections, but rather, an Internet time for entertainment. Not so with a good number of my Gather friends, like you, Peter! We have transcended the anonymity, and the unrealistic face of the Internet, haven't we.
The most popular and loved individual on Gather would be my description of YOU, Peter. Additionally, you share and exhibit your creativity far beyond your very gifted writing skills in the way you present and describe your work. Your readers are so very blessed that this author -- you -- think enough of them, and their support -- that you continuously expound, and celebrate your writing in ways that are delightful, entertaining, informative, and creative. It makes this reader feel her investment in your books was well worth it, as I'm sure others believe, too.
Peter you are the author who doesn't merely write: with you, you are the UNIQUE author who moves past the sale of your book; your readers are privileged with your generosity -- the gift that keeps on giving.

Then you stated that Clooney, Julia Roberts, and Sandra Bullock amongst those that are your favorite theatrical artists; I do so agree, although it's Clooney's looks, and not his talent that appeal to me. Roberts, and Bullock are INDEED very talented!
You mentioned "Golden Girls" and "CSI" as some of your favorite television programs; me too. I started watching CSI well after it had become a hit. The reason I begin to watch it was due to my boyfriend -- he was a manager in that same department in New York, and he talked a great deal about how accurate CSI was; that surprised me, because I was well aware of how medically knowledgeable he was, almost as talented as a doctor, and I begin to check out CSI. He knew that I didn't like his job (too yucky), and if he had still been doing the Yucky part, we wouldn't have lasted long, but I digress . . .

I changed my logo so that it just shows Patti Beagle. I got tired of the one of both of us & people commenting "Oh, what a cute dog!" & ignoring the old man. Ha Ha. hoping your health is better. LOL.

But you know that people are like that, Jim. I remember a man who used to beg in front of my place of employment in San Francisco. This guy told me that he made his money because of his dog, that people seemed more concerned about the dog than they were about him.
People would ask the man questions like,
--When was the last time that your dog was fed?
--Does your dog need any medical care?
--Do you have accomodations/a decent home for your dog?
--If I give you money, I hope you use it to make sure your dog is well taken care of
Questions like those, Jim. I understand the man's disappointment, but some people are like that.
About my health: I know I'm long overdue for sending an email out about that, and one is forthcoming in the not-so-distant future.
Nalita, I think it's safer for people to focus on the animal; it seems to bypass their own feelings of guilt and, in cases like the one you described above, helps them justify in their own minds any money they hand out.

Here is what I shall do: you know that I don't care about points, and I still don't know how the points system works. YOU keep the points and give them to charity; I know that you are always giving any ole way -- and financially speaking -- you and your family are more than financially comfortable; you don't need the points.
